Slept in this morning and got to the lake around 11 am and went looking for shallow bass up river from CFP,Caught a few shallow but no size to them so decided to look in deeper water and boy am I glad I did. The big girls were moved out into 14-18 feet of water in the creeks today and caught a cpl of nice ones one went 5#4oz and the other one went 3#15oz and ended up catching 11 total with the rest being around 2-1/2# Strange that with the warmer weather they were still moved out,water temp was 55-57deg in diff places all caught on Rattle trap and slow rolloin a S/B in the deeper water,And I got my beauty sleep this morning and still caught some nice fish,so it was a great day.
