Green River 3/18
#1
Spent a great day on the Green yesterday with my son who is leaving on his mission next month. He wanted to get a good day of fishing to try and hold him over for two years.

Launched at the dam at 10:00 and floated to Little Hole. The action was off and on all day. We had 6-8 hits in the first hole just a hundred yards or so from the launch. Then it was nothing for an hour or so until 11:30 when the action really picked up through the lunch hour and until 3:00 or so. Picked up a couple more just before reach the ramp.

All in all we boated 22, all browns except for 3 bows. The colors on the fish are spectacular this time of year. Everything was taken on small midge nymph's (red) with a second on a dropper and split shot to get down to 8-10 feet.

I highley recomend using a guide. Our guide Chris new exactly where the fish where and put us on them all day.
