My friend called earlier in the week asking if he thought we could get some crappie today for a fish fry. I told him we would try and so we met at Wolftever Ramp at 9am this morning. We headed back in WT and found the water to be muddy and full of debris. We managed two throwbacks and 1 keeper around one dock but fishing was slow so I decided to head out to the main lake. Out there we found crappie on deep water docks and caught 18 more keepers and too many throwbacks to count. The two different docks we fished were both in about 12-16 fow. Most fish were caught on, what looks like the hot bait of the day, red/chartruse tube style baits on 1/32 oz white jig heads. A nice day on the water and just finished eating them up! emoHungry
