<br /> well we put in just moments before daylight,we talked to two guys from winchester,they said they usually fish woods res,but well you know why.it will be awhile before that place is right.we started fishing the flat just north of the dam.we fished all the way to the dam. bassert got the skunk out of the boat,but in doing so he got alot of slime in it .i told him eric m would be so proud,,,lol .man when that kitty hit his spinnerbait that rod bent plum down to the handle,i looked at it an thought here we go again,another betty sue,i was wrong an told him not to get that slime on the carpet...moments later he hangs a drum.things are looking up.well after a little while the rain started an i thought that this could be a great day to catch a bunch or at least some deccent fish.boy was i wrong.we ended up over at the cave lake,then the wind started an we both just looked at each other,i said you call it .an he did.an i am glad.we saw some big fish rolling on top we tried top water ,he got two hits on a top water bait but it did not hook up.we guessed the rolling might have been cats.i think the water temp was 59.it was a galant try ,you never know till you try,i remember one fishing trip with an old fishing buddy ,it was freezing rain an the wind was white capping an we L O A D E D the boat.well thats all i got, if i forgot anything maybe pat will post what i missed.if you guys get out this weekend take it easy,be carful an catch a bunch,emoUSA we need some good post to read this weekend....
