Corey and I met at HBSP at 9am to see if we could put some crappie in the boat. There were only three other trucks in the parking lot. We made a short run to a dock that was loaded with crappie last weekend put didn&#39;t get a sniff. We moved on down that bank and fished blowdowns and managed a small spot and a couple of bluegills. We decided to make a long bumpy run upriver to fish an area Corey had gotten some info about. I caught a nice fat keeper LM and a couple more bluegills. Left there and hit the &quot;hot dock&quot; and caught a bunch of crappie but only 3 keepers. The biggest one was 13.25&quot;. emoThumbsup We ran back to the first dock we fished and I pulled a keeper out on the first cast. Started getting cold and hungry so we called it a day at 2pm. 4 keepers was the total today. Not great but they sure did make a great dinner tonight. emoHungry <br /><br />Water temps were from 55 to 58 in the different areas we fished. Black and Chartruse squirming squirts were the bait of choice today. The main channel was as rough as it is on the 4th of July weekend. emoEek
