Got out today from 2:00pm to 5:30pm. Immediately started catching keeper smallies, LM, and spots. The bite was good, however, the fish were not hitting baits hard at all. They would just latch on and load your rod up. They were also kind of scattered out, but we did find one school bunched up about 15 yards off a point. The best bait today was a XR-50 followed by spinnerbaits. Water temp. in the area we fished was around 60-61. Most were caught between 4-12 feet. Biggest bass was a 5.5lb LM my son Chris caught. Best 5 was between 17-18lbs.<br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br />
