&#39;Recently new&#39; forum member bama314 and I hit Wheeler dam this morning. Bama was wanting to check out the dam for future fishing and I was wanting to catch a brownfish...Bama&#39;s wish was granted..mine, not so much. We started the morning drifting threadfin shad and pretty soon hooked up with a nice striper...a few drum later I hooked/chased/fought/broke off a goodun emoAngry . We fought the NW wind the rest of the day and only managed a couple of whites(and a bunch more drum) emoRolleyes.<br />I had a blast fishing with bama for the first time.... hopefully, next time we&#39;ll catch a few more sportfish.<br /><br /><br /><br /><br />
