Dropshot, Chickamauga, Bass, 4/12/2009

Headed out after Easter dinner to pre-fish for an upcoming tournament. Having a little issue with my trim switch so I slowly plodded over to a flat and started back tracking, looking for the transitional areas for fish moving in to spawn. Had a better day than yesterday, boating 12 fish in about 2.5 hours. Largest fish weighed in at 4 pounds 9 ounces. Also caught a couple weighing 3 pounds. Best five today would have pushed 15 pounds or so. Still not great, but an improvement over what I have been doing of late. Found water temps of 62 degrees +. Caught all fish on spinnerbait and LFT Flipper. Noticed a huge increase in boat traffice this afternoon. You can tell that summer is on its way.
