put in just before 4am ala time water calm,light wind,water temp 60.an the water was up ,in places it was up to the pastures.i tried a black buzz-bait,before day break an caught several,small buck bass on it .after daylight the top water bite died.so i tried a lizard an a spinner bait,no takers ,so i went with my old trusty back up,...................jig,an i caught five keepers in all total weight of those five keeper was 12lb an 14 ozs.fish was caught in 3 to 5 ft of water,just dragging the jig.pulled out at 2.wished i could have stayed longer ,but maybe next week.a fair day that i am happy with..any time i can spent time on lake G. I AM HAPPYemoUSA
