What a difference two days can make. emoBang Weds. had a good dozen or more bass on a spook with only two non keepers and at the Ratman I did not put one in the boat on a spook. Of course it could have been the heavy rains and lighting with the water coming up about six inches. emoRain We had the bass on that could have won it for us but we could not execute to save our lives. In short....WE SUCKED!!! emoBadLanguage Both Jason and I had bass on that were good ones come off at the boat with us standing there with the net. I think the worse one was when Jason grunted and said," BIG FISH ON!" I turned around to see him with his carrot stick bowed over and a big fish heading right into a post! You guessed it, around the post she goes and POW! the line snaps!!! emoGoofy We could do nothing right. Not fifteen minutes after that one, I was working a shakey head over a stump and it hangs up, I at first thought it was a fish, emoConfused I popped it loose and picked it up just to see it take off to the side!!...there must have been that one sitting there watching it and when it popped loose it nailed it. I rare back and it come hauling out of the water, looked to be a good three, it goes nuts like some trout, Jason grabs the net and about the time he steps up to net it it just comes unbuttoned. emoMad I am telling you we missed and lost fish for three hours. emoAngry Jason did manage after dark to put two nice ones in the boat off plastic that went 5.22 lbs but after what we saw that we lost it was a small consulation. emoRolleyes I think our whole evening could be sumed up as a night we could not execute. The rain was bad and the lighting scary but we were in the hunt even thou it does not look like it from our weight.

Jason as always was a great partner and we did laugh it off, we did it so much it got funny.
Thanks to you guys for putting it on, concrats to the winners for being able to come through on a rough night. emoApplause Jmax
