We got to the rockwood ramp around 6am this morning and off we went. We started up by putting the trolling motor in the water and right up the bank we went throwing jerkbaits and topwaters. Well by 7:30am we had caught close to 30 fish and not a one was under 15in. We had two that would go close to four each but mother nature wanted use off the water for a few minutes. A nice little lightning storm moved in and so we had to wait it out for a few minutes. After the storm moved through we went on about are day of fishing. Caught alot more fish and most were close to the 2 lbs range. We caught most are fish through out the day on jerkbaits and topwater. The better fish were on little secondary points in the creeks. Half the fish we caught had spawned out and the other half hasn't spawned yet. We got off the water around 2:30.
