oldirtybasser camera boom
#1
hi Scott.
I love the idea of camera boom and Im sure that
many people out here like that idea too.
Would you have any pictures of it please?
Do you take pic on timer or how you do it?
Please let me know.

Ps. When I get to go to upper O ,I will let you
know and maybe we can hook up there. That would be
very cool if thats ok with you.

Laters Peter.

Yeah, I put it on timer. 10 seconds isn't a whole lot of time, but it'll do. Just might take a couple of tries if you want to get a really nice shot. Luckily with digital cameras you can preview what you shot on the spot.

I will try to take pics this weekend. I am going camping (and tubing) tomorrow so it shouldn't be a problem. And definitely let me know when you will be in the neighborhood. I can only do weekends though, and an advance "heads up" would definitely help.

Here are some pics. I didn't have time to shoot them while camping, but I was home all day Monday and shot some in my backyard. You can see where it helps a lot for the rodholder to sit perfectly vertical, it sits much better when I'm actually in my tube. There is a shot where an extra rodholder is being used in that slot instead (when I'm tubing with friends that can take pics), note the lock pin to prevent losing a rod.

Let me know if anything is unclear.
