Took the wife out and got her a fishing liscense for her birthday (her request). Got some worms and went to the bank at soddy lake by the ballfields about 7:00 p.m. Caught around 10 small shellcrackers in same spot I fished with the kids last week. Seems the larger crackers have moved out a little deeper in the past week. Taking her out again tonight, probably to dam or riverpark area. I am hoping she gets into fishing and allows me to buy us a boat soon. I will try to get some pics of the fish tonight. Also we would like to keep some and try filleting and cooking them. Neither of us is a big fish eater, so this will be a totally new experience for us.
