Got out on the lake about 6:30 this a.m. and boy it was nice and calm , little did I know cause this is my first summer fishing and owning a boat ,that was the calm before the storm . Man was it rough out there ! Anyway on to the report . We started out fishing the rip rap at the dam and my day just started bad had two come unbuttoned . Both bites came on a xr-50 . Fished that stetched and decided to move on . Went to fire the boat up and it wouldnt start emoBang ! The fuel line had come loose somehow lol . So I could already see how my day was going to go . Got to our next stop a marina and fished around in there . My brother hooks up on a sb . Just shy of a keeper . We tried a few more spots with my brother catching a couple more . One decent keeper to this point . Im getting skunked by this point and it was getting late . So i had to make a run to old reliable WT , always good for 1 or 2 . Changed tacticts and it worked , switched to a rage craw on a shakey head . Something I learned watching Hank Parker this weekend lol ! Caught my first of the day , then caught another the same way , my first keeper of the day . My bro had to get home but we stopped at the stumps in HB on the way out and I put 1 more in the boat . Wasnt the best day but got the skunk off my back ! So to sum it up I'm even more than ever now . I've caught fish this week in shallow , deep water with craws , senkos , SB and RT . I cant find a pattern lol . Any suggestions would be much appreciated <br /><br />Thanks <br />Jeff
