Got a little bit of a late start this morining and went for a couple of hours. Water temp about 73 and clearer than I would have thought with all of the rain. Fished on the channel with the boat in 18-20 feet of water throwing up on the flat. Caught several small fish and a couple of keepers - one being 6lbs 2oz which is the best I've done up here. A blind hog finds an acorn every now and then!! Caught most on soddy blue dd22 (including big one)and a few on watermellon chart lizard. Threw xr50 up in shallow water, jig off the channel and also swim bait without a fish.
