Fished the dogfight out of HBSP last night. There was a good turnout, and the weather held up for me and twilson. We wanted to start out fishing deep, but could not get to our holes fast enough. So, we started fishing a shallow point with some grass to get a early limit. Caught a bunch of fish early off of texas rigged plastics and weightless plastics out of the grass. Next we moved to deep points and flats to try to cull some of our fish. We threw swimbaits, deepdivers, sinkos, etc. with no takers. Then we moved shallow for the last hour to try to catch a big-un feeding. By this time the plastic bite was not so good, so I threw rattlebait and spinnerbait and caught one more keeper at about 2.5-3lbs. Finished the night with a small bag of 6.7??. Congratulations to Corey with 15.????. That is an awesome sack. I have got to get out on the lake more when my boat gets fixed. I guess it was still a better evening than last Thursday. At least I did not have to get towed back to the dock. :emoticon:logo
