<br /> nickajack angler called me saturday night to tell me he would be coming through town around 2am and wanted to know if i wanted to go fishing after he crashed on the couch for a couple hours.i was really looking forward to sleeping in,but after a few min i gave in a told him to come on by.about 1am i got a call to let me know he was in south pittsburg and needed directions to the house.i started to send him way out in the woods on a wild goose chaseemoBig
emoBig but i was to tired so i gave him the correct directions and after he got lost once he finally found the house.<br /> after getting a couple more hours sleep i got up around 3:30 and got ready,but couldnt drag him off the couch until 4:30emoDoh around 5 we finally had the boat hooked up and ready to go and after we had to stop for gas and stop by r&amp;amp;r for a biscuit and a few more lures we finally made it to the lake.<br /> now for the fishing report.we started out fishing the edge of a flat in about 4-5ft of water catching fish on rattle baits.i dont remember how many we boated but we lost alot of fish that was throwing the bait and we had this problem all morning know matter what the bait was.after a few hours fishing the flat the rattlebait bite slowed so we decided to move and try something different.the remainder of the morning we tried banks with wood on them and points and couldnt really get locked in on a pattern but we did manange to boat several bass on spinnerbaits and jigs,and na lost a good 5lbder on a gigemoBawl and i lost another good fish on a spinnerbait.we had a good morning considering the water was about 2ft low when we started and they had it back up to normal when we headed home around 12.<br /> i really enjoyed the trip na,maybe we can do it again soon.just dont wake me up at 1am again or you will go swimming againemoLaugh emoLaugh emoPoke .
