My cuz, Trev and I went to the Riverpark this AM to see if we could catch some fish. We did our part, but the fish didn't go their part. After last week with his Dad at the G and catching all those big bass on topwater, this trip was a bummer. We were expecting to see schooling fish below the RR trestle, but nary a one showed up. We ended up fishing from there all the way to Market Street bridge and only managed 4 spots, 1 white bass, 2 bream, 1 goggle eye and one big fish that broke off while under the boat, pulling drag and finally snapping the Mr Crappie super line. emoBig

We literally threw everything that we could think of and the fishing was very slow for us. Water temp was a shade over 76 degrees, stained water, and current ripping so hard that my trolling motor on high couldn't even stay even. We were pushed downriver all morning. Hindsight being 20/20, we should have gone to the lake and crappie fished. I will the next time that I get to take Trevor.

Sorry that I was such a poor guide this AM, Trev. I really enjoyed fishing with you though and we will do it again really soon. emoBig
