I was so excited the night before I could hardly sleep. Finally it got 3:15 and I took a shower and we headed to our buddies house who was taking us out on Lake Erie the next couple of days. We launched and headed to the first spot. It was a rock flat pretty much. So I made my first cast with my tube. I layed down my rod for a second and picked it back up and I had a fish! After ten minutes of fighting it I FINALLY got it to the boat. It was about a 20 drum. Or a sheephead as Yankees call them. We had no other luck anywhere else so then we started fishing boat slips in the harbor. Then we started catching them. I was throwing a little john crankbait and my first smallmouth was caught. It was about four pounds. We went to catch many fish that day with Spinnerbaits ontop of grass in the boat slips.

The next day we waited at a Bob Evans till the storm passed through to go out. We finally got out and boy was it slow. Though we managed many keepers. We mainly caught Largemouth and managed a few smallies. We caught these flippin and throwing crankbaits along these rock wave breaking type things. Thanks for reading! Here are some pictures of the fish I caught. I think the Drum might be a hall of fame fish But I don't know.
