<br /> Alvin and I hit the Chick today after work. The plan was to catch a mess of crappie. We started out on the spot we both caught them on a couple of weeks ago. No crappie but we did get 7 shortl LM and 3 bluegill. <br /> Moved to another spot (a subtile point on a rock bank) and caught a bluegill on a large deep diving crank, a smallie on a drop shot worm and another small LM on the drop shot. <br /> Hit a mid lake hump that tops out at 12 feet next and boated 5 LM and 1 15&amp;quot; spot all on drop shot. The wind was brutal and we had a 3-4 rollers off some crusiers as well but the fish were there. I think a couple of the LM would have been squeaker keepers but we never measured them.<br /> Hit a long point and got another short LM but we did make a ton of fish.<br /> Hit some barge tie offs and boated yet another short LM on drop shot. <br /> Ended our day at 9 with 17 bass boated and 4 bluegill. Nothing to brag about but it was good to get out and enjoy the 15 MPH wind and sunshine. Pretty good for only 3 hours on the water.
