Well Trev and I went out of our element today and put in at CFP. Just want to see if we could catch a few on unfimilar bass waters to us. We came out of CFP and started fishing the very small island just across the river, No luck! As we where fishing that spot just at day break here came everyone out of HBSP and flew by us. I new wright then we where proably in the wrong area as everyone went out of site to the north. Not knowing where to go we just messed around in a couple of sloughs and back in the CFP. We did manage (13)Lm & (1)SM. Fish caught on Bone Colored Spook Jr early, Crankbaits & Xr50 Rattletraps later in the morning. Did not find any takers on Platics today! Water Temp was from 83 to 86 degs. where fishing. Loaded up about 10:30am as the ski boats and jetski's where starting there hoilday fun! Happy & Safe 4Th to everyone!! emoUSA
