This was my second trip to the dam in a week field testing for a new line of baits: Illusion Professional Baits. Had a great time fishing alongside Lake Chick Dam. Caught fish beside the wall / 1st turbine and also the slower waters between the pier and walkway.

My very first cast I lost about a 2 lb Bass that hit my spinner bait. I had the reels drag set way too loose because I had it in storage and forgot to reset it Dohhhhhhhhh!!!! Others caught: 1 White Bass - 2 lb, 1 Spotted Bass - 2 1/2 lb, 2 Largemouth Bass - 3 lb & 2 lb and several small Yellow Bass - 8 to 10 inches.

The White Bass, Spot and Yellow Bass were caught using a double jig rig - white curly tail grubs. The 3 Largemouth, (including the one lost; were caught using a 3/8th oz Illusion Spinner bait - color: Shimmer Shad w/blood spots on skirt. Tandem willow leaf blades - 1 Lrg silver blade (about a sz 4 blade) & 1 small gold (about sz 2 blade).

I'm very impressed how the baits attracted the Bass. they are very sturdy and made with all the best components including Battlefield wire which won't break off after catching 30 - 40 fish. Built to last and the paint job looks fantastic; plus it is durable!!!! I hit the concrete several times with the spinner bait today and there isn't one single chip in the paint.

For the record!!!! I'm not trying to sell these to the PUBLIC!!!!

I have a chance to Rep Illusion Baits and sell wholesale to the retail market.

But....... First; I want to make sure the product is worthwhile and can stand up to it's marketing claims.
