In 2008 we raised $34,588.29 for the Make-A-Wish Foundation.



Dear BFT Friends,


As many of you know me and my wife participate every year in the RIDE FOR LIFE a fundraising ATV ride from Tooele to Wendover. We raise money for the make a wish foundation to help grant children with a terminal illness a wish. I have been into the wish room at the Make A Wish foundation and can’t begin to explain what a moving experience this is. As you can guess I am asking you today for a donation to help these children. I know this is a brutal economy and everyone has had to tighten their belts on expenses what I am proposing is the following. If each of you can find as little as $10 to give that will raise if you can give more please do but even $5 dollars will add up and I think we can all skip a trip to the drive thru to help grant a terminally ill child’s wish. Your donations are tax deductible and we can provide receipts if needed. Please send your donation no later than August 10th to:

I will also be going this year. I have not gone for a few years now but I wanted to make the 25th anniversary.
I had ridden 15 years in a row when I stopped riding in it.
My father is the originater of the ride that began back in 1984.

Good to hear another BFT going out. My wife is the current secretary for the club this will only be ride #2 for us. I understand there will only be 109 riders this year down from 157 from the previous year.
