I wasn't even planning of fishing today cause I was tired from all the fishing that I have done this week, but after breakfast, working the crossword puzzle, tanking up on coffee, and with everyone gone to school, work, etc. I decided to go for just a couple of hours. Since I was only going to be 1 to 2 hours, I went alone. I know some of you have told me to call you on short notice, but I hate to call someone for 1 to 2 hours of fishing. So, I went bass fishing again this morning and had a blast. I landed 12 largemouth (5 keepers, about 11-12 pounds), 6 yellow bass (aggravating little devils) and 2 crappie. I had to stop at my training dock and fish for crappie for 5 minutes on the way back to Tyner Lane ramp. That is where the 2 crappie came from. <br /><br />Bass were in 10-12 feet of water and I fished with 1/16oz jigheads and 3" flukes. I tried a jigworm (powerbait), for a couple of casts, but no takers on this. The bass are feeding on 2" threadfins according to what a couple of them puked up after checking out the bottom of my boat. emoBig I took pics of all fish, but I won't post all pics. Just a couple.
