My wife and myself went out about 8:00 and the wind was up more than I thought. It was a little hard to keep my place with the trolling motor but I managed. The water temp was around 80. Thought I would try using some jigs to practice for the Crappie tournament. We used BG Bleeding Shad and Blue/pearl color dipped and 1/16th oz jigs. Most fish were caught at 8 to 12 count in about 15 to 20 FOW. I have included a picture of the catch. The Crappie in the picture were all around 12-13". As you can see we also caught a couple of Spots, good size Bream, and a couple of Stripe. We probably threw back as many Crappie below 10" as in the picture.
