Andrew took us to a slough pretty close to the ramp and we started with c-rigged 10 inch worms and white spinnerbaits in water that ranged from 5 ft to 2 ft with scattered grass and gravel surrounded by docks. Andrew caught like 7 in the first 20 minutes including 3 keepers so we had our limit real quick. I finally caught one at about 8 am on the worm and we were able to cull one. We fished there until about 10:30 I think with Adrew maybe catching a couple non keepers and me nothing. We went to a spot in the main channel, fished it about 30 minutes with nothing so we went back to the slough and Andrew caught 2 more I think (neither keepers) and by then in was around 12:25 so we ran back to the ramp and started fishing a channel ledge near the ramp and Andrew caught a good keeper on his first cast with a jig that bumped us up about a pound and I kept on wasting time and space on Andrews boat and not contributing anything. Andrew called his last cast at around 12:47 and so did I, he got nothing but my line started moving away from me so I set the hook into our last keeper and it bumped us up about half a pound and put us in the money for the first time! I caught both of mine on 10 nch c rigged worms, had a blowup on a spook and andrew caught most of his on a worm as well but caught 1 or 2 on the spinnerbait and the jig.
