I took my cousin Trev crappie fishing today. He was out of school on break and since this was a beautiful day, we hit the lake early. We landed 53 crappie with 13" fish being the biggest today. Fish were caught on docks, bluffs, and deep brush. 1/16 oz jigheads with bg shads, slab slayers, and panfish assassins were our lures of choice. No particular color was better than any other.<br /><br />All fish were released. Don't know what the water temp was. Beautiful day, no wind early, then gently blowing later on in the morning. I had to stop at 1:00 because of an errand that I had to run today.<br /><br />I had a great time with you today, Trev. We will go again when you have another break from school. emoBig emoGeezer
