All I can say was that it was tough fishing. We fished from Covenant cove down to the mid lake area down river of Goosepond. I caught six keepers in three days with most of the fish being really shallow 1-3 feet. I watched the water temp go from 70 to 59 degrees in some places and that absolutely killed the bite for us. The schooling action was totally sporadic and when you got close to them they never came back up. Most of the fish we caught came on spinnerbaits and rattle traps because that was about all you could throw in the wind. We never could get a bite on the jig on the weed edges like the SB Kid did. We fished jigs and creatures and never even got a courtesy sniff. We had a great time anyways but the ride down the channel was murder with up to 2-3 foot swells.
