Kinda tuff day for fishing starting out this morning with the boat cover frozen to the boat at my house,
Temp was a balmy 32* and the wind had an early start, emoRedface Other than the wind we had a good day but that wind made for some interesting boating, trying to stay on one spot was a chore. We ended up having to tie up, just couldn't keep the boat off the docks without banging into them. We had lots of clothes on and didn't get the least bit cold, even running the boat looking for a place to fish that was out of the wind, emoTongue We ended up with 28 crappie, 2 catfish, 1 of which was about a 10 lb blue, 2 spots, 1 LM bass, 1 very small small mouth and 3 'gills, emoThumbsup We kept 14 crappie and a big spot for Marlon's fryin' pan and let the others go back to get bigger, emoBig
We did have 2 TARPs today which brightened up Marlon&#39;s day quite a bit, emoThumbsup We fished docks and structure while struggling with the boat handling, emoHoppingmad Waves were 2 feet &#43; and there were even some destroyers out today, emoScratch <br />Water temp was 64* and most of the fish were caught on a 10-12 count. The fish are really in great condition already so they should make the winter just great. We did catch several 9 inch fish off one of the docks without any big fish, emoScratch Used BG shad and color didn&#39;t seem to make a big difference but you did have to change colors quite often to keep the bite going emoFish
