Fished solo today. First time on the water in about 2 weeks. Shame a man has to take a vacation day in order to fish.<br />Started out at daybreak with minnows in brush and along shoreline with floats. Picked up a few keepers. I later switched to a panfish assassin and started pulling in a few more keepers. Bridge pilons were holding crappies but they were all undersized so I moved on to more brush. I caught fish up till about 11:00 then it stopped for me. I ended up catching somewhere between 30 to 40 crappie today. Only 12 made keeper size 2 of which were black nose crappie. You can make out one of the black nose in the pic.
