I took Jim Edmister out today just cause we wanted to be punished by wind, chill, and current. All three were brutal and showed no mercy today. The crappie were in a negative mood, and it was one of the worst days for me in many moons. Jim said that it was him and I asked him if he had the Spurhunter jinx on him. emoPoke emoBigSmile

We did manage to land 9 crappie including my 18th TARP, lost another very nice crappie while reaching for the net, emoBang, one bass, 1 yellow bass, and 1 tiny bluegill.

We saw Norman and Jerry out there battling the elements and met Zippy and his 2 companions as well. The water flow was scheduled to be 85,000 cfs today and I believe that it was doing every foot of that. That 10 mph wind that we were supposed to have was whitecapping the lake.

We fished several lures, colors, etc. but nothing produced any better than an albino shad with taillight. We caught most of our fish off bluffs, but did manage to catch 2 or 3 on docks.

Tomorrow will be a better day. emoBigSmile emoGeezer
