Echo Bay/ Stewarts point

We did the untraditional thing for Thanksgiving, I took my family fishing. Headed to Echo Bay (forever been my favorite spot) On the water by 0800 out of the marina area head north and there are white caps. Got about halfway to Stewarts point fished for awhile eventually caught on 2lb striper fought the wind to Stewarts Point tried everything in my arsenal except the dynamite. We went back to the area outside the tires at Echo had numerous bites but they just were not taking the chovie. My wife hooked one the that bent her pole and snapped the line. She eventually caught one smaller one. We had a wonderful Thanksgiving, ate at Del taco on the way home woooohoooo.

What a nice way to spend Thanksgiving. I was thinking of doing the same. Always great to get out there and fish with the family.
