hitting the middle provo this weekend. its looking like saturday. any recent reports/advice. ill be there around 7am saturday morning at the sportsmans access thats right down the road from the restoration project's main office... basically take a right on 40 comming from ogden, then the first left into the parking lot. gray waders, gray wading jacket, real tree camo beanie. blue GMC 1500 with BFT sticker on back window, come say hi if your out and about.

Hey I may join ya Ive been hitting the weber pretty hard looking for a change of scenery but depends on the wifey she wants to finish Xmas stuff all i hear is blah blah blah hang this, move this, let go here, blah blah blah LOL
Haven't hit the provo to much this year but in years past had good sucess on 20 & 22 zebra midges, & 14 to 16 hares ears.
Ill be in a black chevy trailblazer and beige redington jacket.

This time of year I've done well with 18-20 disco or zebra midges and WD40's in black, brown, gray, or olive.

If you are going smaller than a 20 you may want to bring a girlfriend to keep your hands warm and pace yourself on the beers so that you can actually retie.

haha! i dont touch the hooch when i fly fish... beer and moving water dont mix, anyway change of plans im going to be there sunday instead of snow boarding (can you believe im dropping boarding for fishing!!! whats the world comming to!!). once i figure out some directions/locations that were given to me ill let ya know where ill be.

ok, now that i have the PM fiasco sorted out through no ones fault but my own here is where i am going to be:
comming from Ogden take the right on 189/40.... about 200 feet down the road there is a dirt road that leads to the River Restoratrion Project HQ/DWR office... there is a small parking lot behinde there that has a sign on it (it was there this summer) that says sportsmans access. ill be there at 7 on sunday and am going to be working up river pocket fishing. come say hi if you can!

fished pretty good today kochanut. Fished the same rig all day. size six followed by a size sixteen, high stickin pockets and pools. Bows, browns, and whities... gray midge was the ticket for me. guess the san juan was workin too...

I think there are more whitefish on the middle than the lower. Lots of em in there
