Here is something that I've learned from the old pros when it comes to lure selection and colors. If you fish an reservoir that holds rainbow trout in it... Take one of your crankbaits and spray paint it Rainbow trouth color... This little tip can help you catch twice as many in these type of reservoirs... Bigger bass will feed on the smaller Rainbow trout.. Some of your better reservoirs in California hold trout which produce many bass over 15 lbs..
