Flaming Gorge
Glow in the dark tube jigs tipped with sucker meat.
Rocky areas that look like smallmouth bass structure.
Lots of info on the Utah boards.

i do eat them all and they are awsome they are a fresh water cod and dang good and easy to catch if you get away from CROWEDS people dont get pressure slow's fishing. i use yammamoto glow grub's4'' and radical glow 3.5'' white and natural green with sucker meat and smeely jelly crawfish anise scent i glow my jig often and fish eny rocky point with good drop offs recharge your bait often it really does help from what we have seen fish from 10ft-80ft till you find them then you can move all 6 rod's to that magic depth what ever it maybe that night it's a night time deal as soon as the sun goes down they come out in pac's.FG is FLAMING GORGE wyoming best fishing is on the wyo side there is 91 mil of lake so finding a spot shouldnt be hard.good luck.

Burbot don't have a "normal" caudal peduncle style tail like a rainbow. There tail is more eel like or similar to that of a salt water ling cod.

the reason the tails are cut is to bleed them out same as if you riped out the gill's of a hatchery hen for roe.if you dont gill them or de-tail them as we say ,you will have black vanes all over in the meat. so what joke is one you iam being serious here lurtch it's an invasive species that was ilegally intraduced..........sorry if i ofended you by posting this here boy's.

I guess I missed that on the pics though I did see the blood. Do you cut the tails completely off, like with a hatchet, or just slice across the interior to the kidney?
No offense taken.
