Well I almost did it again but with something I never even expected!!! I hit the river agian today for a quicky because I was itchin to give some new rods and insulated boots a go. I caught a hog Coosa/Redeye bass that was just off the state record!! There was another gentleman there fishing for crappie and he said that's a nice redeye and I was thinking it was a smallie but he said nope, that's what most call a red eye, see the bright red eye and the blue tint on it's head, but it's really a coosa bass and that's one of the biggest ones I've ever seen!!! I grabbed up my handy battery filled scales emoThumbsup and weighed him in at 1lb. 13oz!!! I was really excited and I would have never known if the gent hadn't informed me on the correct way to id it. emoToast Anyway I got another sweet surprise that I was also 
on the id and it turned out to be a very pale brown trout and rounded the trip off with 5 spots. All in all it was a great day and I love my new boots and new rods!!!
