Hoo-eee! I just about had forgotten what a catfish felt like! Of course, they were just puny 20 and 30 pounders, but what the heck, they're still FUN!!<br /><br />I didn't expect to be able to get out today, but the stars aligned and everything worked out perfectly and I hit the water at about 11 am. I drove all over making more recordings to study at home, and then set up to try for a fish or two. I wasn't sure they'd remember who I was, but I needn't have worried. The cats lined up to each take their turn. Most of them actually looked happy to see me! Skipjack was the preferred flavor of the day.<br /><br />The new boat and I are going to get along great. I'm happier each time I take it out. The learning curve isn't as bad as I had anticipated, and in 6 months I won't have to think a bit to control the remote trolling motor.<br /><br />I didn't try any new spots today - not fair to the catfish that have been awaiting my return. Maybe next trip!
