First time the boat has been out since Fishnvol's frog tournament last fall, good news, everything worked. Bad news, I got to Roseberry and realized I left my gloves and beanie on the deck before I pulled out of Chatt, not the smartest of moves. By the time I got the boat in the water and truck parked the entire boat was white, it was doing some pretty serious snowing. Had to take several breaks with the hands in the pockets getting them functional again. Did a lot of running around, water temps in the big creeks was 38-39, not to my liking. Warmest water I found was 42 and that was in the main river. Managed to catch 2 small males on traps, both around 2lbs and pale as can be. Good to get out and get the first bass of the year but sure didn't learn a whole lot for the tournament next weekend. Seeing that guys had 28+ yesterday doesn't help the psych a whole lot emoBang Nevertheless I'm willing to donate to the cause next weekend, look forward to seeing y'all!
