Took the afternoon off and returned to the Flint River (a tributary stream below Guntersville Dam); got on the fish again in the same location as Friday's trip. Lots of good white bass (best was 2.3 lb.), a few hybrids (best was 2.3 lb. also), several salt water stripes (largest around 3.5 lb.) and nine spotted bass. Largest spot was 3.3 lb., with several near 2.5 lb. All fish caught on a small South Bend spoon, vertically jigged in 15 to 20 feet of water. Couldn't tell you how many fish we caught, would have had two ice chests full if we had been keeping them.
