Well, I wanted to fish up in the lake this pm. but when I got to the Chickamauga Marina ramp the north wind was gusting and the water was pretty choppy, so I decide to go to Riverpark.

I just wanted to get out, try a few different things and mess around. The flow was about 46K cfs and the water temp was 43. I tried still water, eddies and downstream current, all near natural rock. I used finesse crappie jigs, 3.5 in. tube baits and jig/pig combos.

I ended up with a 13 in. black crappie, a 13 in. white crappie (my first white in a long time), a 15 in. largemouth, a 12 in. spot, two 13 in. white bass, 3 yellow bass and 3 drum up to 17 lbs. (29 in.). The white crappie was a lot more slender than the black one.The crappies, largemouth, yellow bass and one white bass and one drum were in still or low flow water, the others in current. The largemouth, 2 drum and one white bass hit the tube bait, the rest hit pearl panfish assassins with taillight. All fish were released except the 2 crappies.

Sandhill cranes were making lots of noise up above on their migration and provided an exciting view. They just made the day that much more enjoyable.
