Started the day on Nickajack in the CFF#2 tournament. Never had a bite so at 10:30 my dad said let's just go on down to Guntersville. So we loaded up and left. Got into Mudd Creek around 11:30, pulled up to the first spot and wham... a 4 lber. There were boats everywhere. The most I have ever seen in there. Fished until 3 o'clock and ended up with four keepers. Water temp was around 48 degrees. Even warmer under the second bridge where the water is only like 2 ft deep. The other 3 keepers all came from under that second bridge. All were caught out in the middle of that right side slew. There were some good reports of guys catching fishing Mudd Creek last weekend. Hope to get back down there again while the bite is still on. All fish were caught on red colored traps.
