Finished my honey-do list today and headed to river for three hours. A buddy of mine told me to put in at B&amp;B and fish the Hiawassee because they have had some luck. So I did and ran down that ditch for a bit. Caught a few in 15 ft of water on a jig (dark Blue) and a few bites on carolina rig. Nothing spectacular but they stretched my line. Learned two things today:<br /><br />1) My Brittany Spaniel can&#39;t go fishing with me because he wants to go fetch on every cast. <br /><br />2) The Hiawasee is dangerously shallow. I&#39;ve fished it before but never realized how shallow it was. It was an educational experience today. <br /><br />Going to fish the lake tomorrow...hoping for better luck.<br /><br />
