we hit grasshopper about 8am this morning and headed over to sale creek to see if the crappie were still where we left them on Thursday.
they were there off of bluffs that had 18-25 fow relating to the larger sized wood in the water

and the size hadn't changed much either. while the catching was more consistent through the day with nearly
60 fish in the boat we only had 2 that were keeper size by the time we pulled out around 2:30pm . light colors with tail lights on 1/32 jigs
got the most hits. they did seem to prefer the BG hologram ghost or butterbelly .
did a little more scouting but couldn't find very many decent size schools of crappie. those that we did find seemed to be mostly short males .
still had a lot of fun catching the shorts as we hadn't planned on keeping any. it was nice to be out on a beautiful day and the catching was a bonus emoBig
almost forgot water temp was about 48 or so on the main lake and 50 to 51 in places farther back in the creeks.

we also side imaged several main lake docks and a few others in shallower coves but couldn't see many if any fish on any of them.
