Hook1, Chick, LM, 3/19, Jason
#1
Met Jason at the ramp at 2 and started looking for some fish with no luck Sad. After quite some time with good spots and no luck a good friend of ours gave us a tip on some fish. We headed way upriver to the area and pretty soon I hooked a fish but lost it on the first jump but that was a good sign. Almost immediately after Jason hooks one and then side hooks a drum and we're getting bites. We stayed in the area fan casting for a couple of hours I think and actually caught enough to make a limit! emoDance We fished around a while longer and Jason hooks up with something nice. I'm thinking drum because he had already foul hooked one earlier but then I seen what you could call a kicker fish. emoSun The fish looked like a regular 5 to 6 lber when it came up because all I saw was her back. Her belly is where the other 2.9 lbs were hiding! We weighed the fish took a fast pic and she was let go harmlessly. This was the best trip I've had on Chickamauga in quite a while and the most keepers in a long time. With the big fish and our four other best would have been around 17 to 19 lbs. Not too bad for the Chick. I would have NEVER thought to fish where we were had it not been for a much needed tip from a friend of ours. Thanks Buddy emoApplause
