We had a miserable day with the weather and fishing. First stop was a main lake point and Chuck caught a keeper LM quickly on a plastic swimbait but it was nearly impossible to hold the boat in the wind. Went to a pocket with wind blowing into it but the back was out of the wind. Fish have been here for 2 weeks and now they were gone. No bait or fish where they had been and we left with only a few small LM bass and white bass on 1/4 oz traps. We went to another creek and found some clearer water and caught several LM on a jerkbait with only one being a keeper. We hit another pocket where they'd been for 2 weeks and found nothing again. The fish seemed to have left these pockets and I don't know why. The water temps have been rising and the lake level has been consistant. Finished the day at the mouth of Chester Frost and caught 2 more keepers but the water was just too trashed from the wind to do much good.
Ended the day with 4 keepers going about 7#, a wet rear end, and a miserable ride home with the sun finally comming out. All our fish came on jerkbaits, rattle traps and the one on a swimbait. Tried s/b and chatterbaits a little but did no good, but that isn't saying much because we just weren't around any fish today.

CONGRATS to the winners of the Grant's T and THANK YOU to Kevin for putting on another great run Tournament.
