I fished for an hour or two with MrWiskers early on the river and when the front came through we headed for home. When I got home the weather didn't look that bad and so I called CCSM, as I had spoken with him the night before about fishing and he was still on the lake just about ready to call it quits on the crappie and trying for some bass. He came by the house and we went looking for LMs. We found some on shallow flats but the wind made it tough as the front was just coming through. We ended up with 5 or 6 most on rattle baits, and one on a carolina rigged worm. Most of them were in 3-7 foot of water. It was a lot of fun to be out there with CCSM. Most of the fish were 1.5lb bucks but one was 2-3lbs and one was pushing 4lbs. I've got some buddies that are coming into town in a week and I'm hoping that the fish will cooperate shallow.
