Jacob came down from Cincinnati for some crappie fishing while on his spring break. We started about 8am and fished until about 2:30. I wanted to find some shallow fish so he could catch some without too much trouble. We managed to find 15 keepers all over 11 inches and one 14 inch fish that weighed 1lb 6oz, another 6 or 8 over 1lb too. We used stubby butts and panfish assassins with 1/32 oz jig head. Most fish caught in 4 to 6 fow and the bite was very subtle. I'm hoping the spawn isn't over yet. What a great day to be on the water with my grandson. We ate moon pies and drank RC colas all day. emoParty
