Back out on the lake fishing again today but it was rough out there. The wind was blowing early and got worse later in the morning. We mixed in a little bass fishing and caught three in about 15 minutes and then the disappointment of my trolling motor battery going dead shortly after that. I guess I was hoping it had more juice but when you try to push a pontoon boat around from the last trip it doesn&#39;t take long to &quot;zap&quot; a battery. All of the bass hit a chrome Rat-L-Trap in about 5-10 feet of water. It was hard to find an area to escape the wind so we called it a day earlier than we wanted too. We picked up a few crappie in and around HBSP but the bite wasn&#39;t quite as good for us as it has been. It&#39;s had a lot of fishing pressure lately...just look at the folks on the pier.<br /><br />J.
