We fished out of two boats, we four humans and Freida. We fished the same spots at the same time. Initially our goal was to catch 100 crappie like we did yesterday but after about an hour and 15 minutes we had met that goal and set our sites on 200 crappie for the day. We fished mostly docks in WT as the wind was really bad everywhere else. We did fish a couple of brushpiles too which gave up quite a few fish also. We were really tearing the fish up until we were 12 fish from our goal and the fish in the creek, both at the docks and on brushpiles simply stopped biting. We had another 20 minutes or so of light left and the wind had died down so we went to fish a spawning flat, hoping for the last few fish to meet our goal. It took us until a few minutes after dark but the teamwork payed off and we stopped fishing with an even 200 crappie in the boat. We had many missed hits and many long line releases but none of them were counted in our total. All I can do is repeat how much I love springtime fishing and congratulate Sam, Erik, and John on the largest number of crappie that I have ever seen in a day. Fantastic job TEAM! We will have to do it again sometime. We fished from 5:15 pm until a little after dark. What a great evening on the water! My thumb is numb and sandpapery, what a great feeling! Sam has some pics to share. Sam caught numbers 100 and number 200 and I would say caught more than his share of the 200. If you get a chance to fish with any of these guys you&#39;d better take it. They are great to be around! Thanks for the great evening guys! Most of the fish were caught at about a 5-6 count and Sam and I only used PAs on 1/32 oz jigheads. The water in the creek was about 75 degrees.<br />
