Really been itching to fish a lot this week.

I have been fishing my normal round of 3 or 4 ponds on Lookout. Fish have been very shallow and I had been having most of my luck on wacky rigged finesse worms, and drop shots.

cb1340 was nice enough to inform me of a pond/marshy area in the East Brainerd area. I fished it yesterday for about 4 hours throwing mainly top water and spinnerbaits. I caught 3 on ribbit frogs and one on a half oz chartreuse spinnerbait. Noting particularly large, or great numbers but it is a really cool spot.

There is a lot of grass and cover and a large amount of bait fish for a body of water so small. I spoke with a man there who said the gov't was supposed to come in and preserve that area a little bit. I hope they do because I think that place would thrive with some deeper water.

Thanks again cb1340.
